How do you convince non-opera fans to give opera a go, while still appealing to aficionados? That was the gauntlet thrown down to us by New Zealand Opera. Four operas later, we’re pleased to say we reached the right balance with packed theatres throughout the country for Sweeny Todd, Carmen, The Mikado and Candide.
